Please allow at least two (2) hours for the entire PET/CT scan process. After you receive a tiny
amount of radioactive sugar, you will rest completely for 40 minutes. Then you will have about
20-30 minutes of free time until your scan. You may eat a small amount at this time. Your
PET/CT scan will usually take 20-30 minutes in one or two parts. Special protocols are listed
below.

Body 15-20 minute table time	Trunk and Neck 15-20 minute table time	Delayed Body 15-20 minute table time
Body and Brain 40-60 minute table time	Heart 20 minute table time	Bone 15-45 minute table time
Brain Only 20 minute table time	Whole Body 40-60 minute table time	Radiation Therapy Planning 15-30 minute table time
